- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 large fresh lemons (zest and juice)
- 1 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare your grill.
- In a bowl, mix lemon juice, zest, olive oil, garlic powder, oregano, black pepper, and salt.
- Place chicken in a zip-lock bag or shallow dish; pour the marinade over it and if grilling, brush grill grates with oil.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or grill each side for about 6 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
- Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving with lemon wedges.
