Instructions
- Chop one medium head of cabbage into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and minced garlic, cooking until golden brown and fragrant, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the chopped cabbage with a pinch of salt, letting it wilt for about 7-10 minutes.
- Pour in 1 cup of rinsed rice along with 2 cups of vegetable broth. Stir to ensure the rice is evenly distributed.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce to low heat. Cover and let it simmer for about 20-25 minutes until the rice is fluffy.
- Fluff the rice with a fork and season with soy sauce or tamari to taste.
