- 1 packet instant yeast
- 1 3/4 cups warm water
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Fresh herbs (like rosemary or thyme)
- Sea salt for topping
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and instant yeast.
- Add warm water and olive oil to the dry mixture and stir until a sticky dough forms.
- Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and grease your baking sheet with olive oil.
- Transfer the dough to the baking sheet and spread it out with your fingers.
- Dimple the dough with your fingers, top with fresh herbs and a sprinkle of sea salt.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving warm.
