Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1 3/4 cups warm water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Fresh herbs (like rosemary or thyme)
  • Sea salt for topping

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and instant yeast.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil to the dry mixture and stir until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and grease your baking sheet with olive oil.
  5. Transfer the dough to the baking sheet and spread it out with your fingers.
  6. Dimple the dough with your fingers, top with fresh herbs and a sprinkle of sea salt.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving warm.
