Description

A refreshing juice made with pears, apples, lemon, and ginger, perfect for a healthy boost.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 pears, cored and chopped
  • 2 red or green apples, cored and chopped
  • ½ lemon, peeled
  • 1 one-half inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled
  • 1 cup water (if using a blender)
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional, for adding more fall flavor)

Instructions

  1. Cut the produce into large pieces that will fit through the feeding tube of a juicer. If you will be using a blender to make your juice, then cut your produce into smaller pieces than if you are using a juicer.
  2. Run the produce through the juicer. Collect the juice in a pitcher. Stir in the ground cinnamon and serve immediately.
  3. Add the pears, apples, lemon, ginger, and water to the base. Blend or process on high for 20-30 seconds, or until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Pour the blended juice through a nut milk bag, squeezing it from the top down to drain the juice into a pitcher. Discard the collected pulp, or save it and use it for another purpose.
  5. Stir the ground cinnamon into the juice and serve immediately.

Notes

  • This juice is best served fresh but can be stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
