Description

This delicious Peach Dump Cake is easy to make and perfect for warm weather. Serve it warm or cold with a scoop of ice cream!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans peach pie filling (21 oz each) (or three 15 oz cans peaches in syrup, do not drain)
  • 1 box yellow cake mix (15 oz)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup (170g) unsalted butter, melted (1 1/2 sticks)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350º F.
  2. Spray a 9×13 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Add the peach pie filling to the bottom of the pan. Save a few peaches for the top if you want – it looks pretty to add a few to the top!
  4. Sprinkle the cinnamon over the peaches, then sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the cinnamon.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the dry cake.
  6. Add the peaches you saved to the top if desired.
  7. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until golden yellow.
  8. Allow the cake to sit for 20 minutes before serving. This allows the juices to rest.
  9. Serve warm or cold with ice cream if desired!

Notes

  • This cake is excellent served with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  • Feel free to add more spices such as nutmeg for extra flavor.
