Ingredients

- 2 pounds sweet potatoes (peeled and cut into large chunks)
- ⅓ cup milk (more or less, depending on desired texture)
- 4 Tablespoons butter
- ⅓ cup honey
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
- ⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add in the sweet potatoes, reduce the heat to medium, and cook until the potatoes are tender (about 20-30 minutes, depending on how large of pieces you cut them into).
- Drain the water and place the potatoes in a large bowl.
- Using a potato masher, mash the potatoes until they reach the desired consistency. Slowly pour in the milk and mix in.
- Add the remaining ingredients until everything is blended together and the butter is melted.
- Serve warm topped with a little bit of cinnamon, brown sugar, and butter (if desired).
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the amount of milk for creaminess according to your preference.
