Description

Delicious chocolate crinkle cookies that are soft on the inside and have a powdered sugar coating.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until fluffy.
  4. Slowly add dry ingredients to wet ingredients; fold until just combined.
  5. Scoop dough into balls and roll in powdered sugar until coated.
  6. Place on parchment-lined baking sheets and bake for 10–12 minutes or until slightly puffed.

  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
