Description

This classic coleslaw is a perfect side dish for any meal, combining crunchy vegetables with a creamy dressing.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups shredded coleslaw mix
  • 1 cup shredded red cabbage
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or sweetener
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Add the mayo, finely chopped onion, apple cider vinegar, sweetener, celery salt, salt and pepper to taste in a small bowl. Stir to combine.
  2. Add the coleslaw mix and red cabbage to a large serving bowl. Drizzle the mayo mixture throughout. Stir to combine.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to serve chilled.

Notes

  • Optional: Add shredded red cabbage for color.
  • Taste the dressing as you mix and adjust the sweetness or acidity to your preference.
