Scale
- 3 large Russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- Optional grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Wash and optionally peel the potatoes. Slice them into uniform 1/4-inch sticks.
- Soak the sliced potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
- Drain and pat the potatoes completely dry using a towel.
- Toss the fries with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- Arrange fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd.
- Air fry for 15–20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time.
- Remove the fries once golden and crisp. Garnish with parsley and Parmesan, if using. Serve hot with your favorite dip.
Notes
- Ensure the fries are dry before tossing with oil and seasonings for maximum crispiness.
- You can customize the seasonings to your taste.
