Description

This Garlic Butter Chicken is easy to make and full of flavor!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/4 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1 1/4-inch pieces
  • 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp unsalted butter, divided
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp minced fresh garlic (about 4 cloves)
  • 2 Tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken into evenly sized bite-sized pieces and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss chicken with flour, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until fully coated.
  3. Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 Tbsp olive oil and 1 Tbsp butter.
  4. Add chicken in a single layer, leaving space between pieces, and cook undisturbed for 3 minutes.
  5. Flip chicken and cook for another 2 minutes or until golden brown and nearly cooked through.
  6. Reduce heat to medium-low, then add remaining 2 Tbsp butter, minced garlic, and parsley.
  7. Cook for 1 more minute, stirring gently to coat the chicken in garlic butter.
  8. Serve immediately, optionally garnished with extra parsley or a squeeze of lemon.
