Soft and fluffy garlic butter dinner rolls, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 4 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 3 1/2 cups + 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1 cup whole or 2% milk (warmed to 110°F)
- 1 large egg (room temperature)
- 1 beaten egg, for brushing the tops
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Flaky sea salt (for finishing)
Instructions
- Lightly butter the bottom and sides of a 9×13 pan, and set it aside.
- In a small pot, melt the butter and add minced garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes until aromatic.
- In a stand mixing bowl, combine flour, parsley, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add warmed milk, egg, and the garlic butter you made.
- Knead on low speed with the dough hook until smooth and soft, about 10-12 minutes.
- Cut the kneaded dough into 12 equal portions and shape each into a smooth ball. Place them in the prepared baking pan.
- Cover the rolls and let them rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1-2 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Brush the tops of the rolls with the beaten egg wash.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Brush the baked rolls with additional garlic butter and sprinkle with flaky sea salt before serving warm.
Notes
- For best results, allow the dough to rise in a warm environment.
- These rolls are best served warm.
