Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or lamb
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup couscous
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground meat, garlic, parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper until combined.
  3. Form into golf ball-sized meatballs and place on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Meanwhile, bring water or broth to a boil; stir in couscous and let sit covered for about 5 minutes.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk tahini, lemon juice, garlic powder, and water until smooth.
  7. Serve couscous topped with meatballs and drizzled with tahini sauce.
