Description
Delicious cinnamon rolls filled with a peppermint chocolate filling and topped with icing and crushed peppermint candies.
Ingredients

- 1 package refrigerated cinnamon roll dough (with icing)
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp peppermint extract (optional)
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- Fresh mint leaves (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Unroll cinnamon roll dough slightly to spread filling.
- Mix cocoa powder, brown sugar, melted butter, and peppermint extract.
- Spread filling over dough and add chocolate chips plus half the peppermint.
- Roll up dough and place in greased baking dish.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden.
- Top with icing, remaining peppermint, and chocolate chips.
Notes
- For an extra minty flavor, add more peppermint extract.
- This recipe can be modified by adding nuts or other toppings as desired.
