A delicious recipe for thick-sliced Texas-style French toast.

- 4 slices Texas style bread (thick sliced type)
- 3 eggs
- 1 tablespoon cream (half and half)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (ground)
Instructions
- Combine the ingredients (except the bread) in a bowl and whisk.
- Dip each slice of bread into the mixture and coat thoroughly.
- Place on a griddle or frying pan and brown on each side on medium heat.
- Dust with icing sugar and blueberries (if desired) and serve with syrup.
Notes
- For a sweeter taste, add more sugar to the mixture.
- You can substitute the Texas style bread with any thick bread of your choice.
