Description

A delicious cream cheese spread with a blend of spices and cheeses, topped with pepper jelly and chives, perfect for parties.


Ingredients

  • 2 8-ounce packages of cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces of sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 ounces of pepper jack cheese, shredded
  • 3/4 cup of pepper jelly
  • 1/4 teaspoon of dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of celery salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon of dried minced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried parsley
  • 2 tablespoons of thinly sliced fresh chives

Instructions

  1. Soften and whip the cream cheese until light and fluffy using a hand mixer or stand mixer.
  2. Add all the seasonings and herbs except for the chives and mix to combine.
  3. Gradually incorporate the shredded sharp cheddar and pepper jack cheeses until fully blended.
  4. Whip the mixture for about a minute on high until smooth and creamy.
  5. Spread the mixture into a dish, cover, and refrigerate overnight to meld the flavors.
  6. Before serving, let it sit for about an hour, then spread pepper jelly on top.
  7. Garnish with fresh chives.
