Description
Deliciously baked salmon fillets with a garlic-lemon butter sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (skin on (about 6 ounces each))
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- Ground black pepper (to taste)
- Chopped fresh parsley (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with foil and spray with cooking spray for easy cleanup.
- Place the salmon fillets in the dish, pat them dry with paper towels, and let them sit for about 15 minutes to come to room temperature.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
- Brush the garlic-lemon mixture evenly over the tops and sides of each salmon fillet, making sure they are fully coated.
- Bake for 12–20 minutes, depending on the thickness of your fillets. (My fillets took 17 minutes.) The salmon should flake easily with a fork or reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
- Allow it to rest for 3 minutes after removing from the oven.
- Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and fresh lemon wedges if desired. Enjoy!
Notes
- For best results, use salmon fillets that are similar in thickness for even cooking.
- Serve with a side of vegetables or over rice for a complete meal.
